TECO at 70: LC Electronic Advances Drive and Smart Power Technologies

TECO held its 70th anniversary forum on October 16 under the theme “The AI Era: Industrial Transformation and the Future of Energy,” exploring how AI is reshaping industry and energy demand. In his keynote address, TECO Chairman Morris Li outlined three strategic priorities for the next decade: power and energy service solutions, AI infrastructure, and smart power. He also emphasized integrating resources across TECO’s businesses to accelerate global expansion. At the anniversary celebration that evening, Minister of Economic Affairs Kung Ming-hsin recognized TECO’s long-standing commitment to Taiwan and its international expansion, and encouraged the company to continue advancing manufacturing upgrades and the net-zero transition.
Growing AI computing demand is driving data center construction and expansion, bringing energy supply, efficiency and system integration into sharper focus. These broader industry trends formed part of the forum’s discussion on industrial transformation and the future of energy.
Under the leadership of Scott H. Chen, President of the Energy & System Automation (ESA) Business Group and Chairman of LC Electronic, the company continues to develop high-efficiency drive and smart power technologies. Its product applications include fans, air conditioning, pumps and fluid systems. LC Electronic’s air-handling unit fan solution integrates a large forward-curved fan, a high-efficiency EC motor and a controller. It can be applied to air-handling systems to support efficient airflow management and equipment operation.
As demand for energy-efficient equipment and applications grows, LC Electronic will continue to strengthen its drive-control and energy-efficient product offerings and expand their applications.
