2026 CSO Alliance Forum｜Driving Practical Pathways to Net Zero
LC Electronic was invited to participate in the 2026 Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Alliance Forum, themed “Net-Zero Solar, Deep Energy Savings, Building Efficiency, and Resilience Governance.” The forum brought together Vice Premier Cheng Li-Chun, Minister of Environment Peng Chi-Ming, TECO Group Chairman Morris Li, as well as sustainability leaders from central and local governments, state-owned enterprises, and industry sectors to exchange insights on net-zero strategies and cross-sector collaboration toward the 2050 net-zero target.
During the forum, Scott H. Chen, Chairman of LC Electronic and President of TECO Group’s Energy & System Automation Business Group, shared TECO’s achievements in comprehensive energy savings initiatives. Through long-term analysis of operational patterns, equipment characteristics, and energy consumption behaviors across different application environments, TECO has developed integrated energy-saving solutions that combine efficiency, intelligent management, and continuous optimization capabilities, helping enterprises strengthen energy governance and advance sustainable transformation.
Scott H. Chen highlighted TECO’s hospital energy-saving solutions, which implement systematic energy optimization across five major systems, including HVAC, power, medical gases, lighting, and electrical infrastructure. By integrating an EMS energy management platform, TECO has established an energy governance framework with visualization, quantification, and intelligent management capabilities. In one representative hospital energy-saving project, the overall solution is expected to achieve annual electricity savings of approximately 12.24 million kWh and carbon reduction of approximately 5,803 tons, demonstrating the practical benefits of deep energy savings and intelligent energy management.
